What you can ask the Grievance Officer to do
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct personal data that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Erase your personal data. Records we are required to keep for tax / financial-record law (Income Tax Act §44AA, GST §36) will be anonymised in place; rows we are not required to keep will be deleted.
- Withdraw consent for any processing where consent was the lawful basis.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity (DPDP §14) — raise a data-rights request below and choose Nomination.
- Raise any other concern about how your personal data is being handled.
Raise a data-rights request This records your request and starts the SLA clock.
You can also send your request by email to the officer above. Include enough information to identify you and a clear description of what you would like done — your registered email or roll number if you hold an account, or, if you ate here as a walk-in guest with no account, the phone number or email address you gave at the counter together with the approximate date. A walk-in guest is a Data Principal with the same rights, and this is the channel for them. The officer will acknowledge within the SLA shown above.
If we are unable to resolve your concern, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India in accordance with §27 of the DPDP Act.
